TECHNICAL DESIGN - STEP 3

Tech Packs (AKA technical specification packets or spec sheets) are essentially a blue print for any manufacturer to price out, create and re-create your product. We create a grouping of documents that describe all of the details for the fabric, trims, and stitching information needed to make your product or garment consistently and at the quality you ascertain.

Our grade rules have been established from over 10 years of research, fittings, manufacturing and experience. Grade rules are formulas for changing the sizing at each point of measure in the tech pack. Grade rules should be done by experienced professionals as incorrect grade rules can cause poor product that does not fit and therefore, your products do not succeed.

  • Grade rules eliminate the need for graded patterns
  • Grade rules for men, women, junior, youth, infant and foundations (bras) are available

Label and package design should be included in the tech pack. Specifying type, content, print, embroidery ect… of your labeling and packaging creates a consistent and quality brand image your customers will identify. We provide design for brand label and care labels. We also  provide the nitty-gritty details for top quality.

  • Label specifications put your brand image in your control
  • Receive accurate price quotes with this information included.

A flat sketch is a line drawing of the garment or soft good. The technical sketch shows every seam and garment detail of the design. This sketch is used by the patternmaker or manufacturer as a guide for when it is time to draft the pattern for the design. It is also an integral part of the technical specification sheet or style sheet that goes to the pattern maker and manufacturer.

  • Shows stitching and panel details
  • Provides clear visual direction
